Presence of IT's Change Management Lead, Dr. Anat Hassner, the current chairperson of the Women in Project Management/PMI Sydney Chapter, is pleased to announce a half day workshop on Megaprojects and the challenges of delivering them. Featuring high profile speakers and projects. This is an event not to be missed! All are welcome.
Within the next few years, Australia is set to spend billions of dollars on improving transport, education, IT and electrical related infrastructure. Some of these projects will be ‘mega’ meaning that the large size, complexity and risks associated with these projects will create a significant delivery challenge.
A panel of speakers will present unique perspectives of what it takes to deliver billion dollar projects for Sydney and outline some of the key challenges associated with delivering large scale projects.
The Panel
Carl Scully (former Transport Minister for NSW)
Carl will discuss a broad range of megaprojects during his time as Minister and the importance of political champions
Scott Lyall (Executive Project Director, Epping to Chatswood Rail Line)
Scott will discuss the lessons Learnt from delivering Epping to Chatswood Rail Line (including overview of project, delivery model, governance, design assurance process, commissioning, property issues, communicating with the public, public perception)

Diane Dromgold (Managing Director of RNC Global Projects) Diane will discuss resource management - it's the people and not only the tools and strategies that deliver megaprojects.
